The Loonatics are descendants of the Looney Tunes who live on a city-planet known as Acemetropolis. They received super powers from the shock wave of a meteor impact knocking the planet off its original axis. Ace Bunny, Lexi Bunny, Danger Duck, Rev Runner, Tech E. Coyote, and Slam Tasmanian were gathered by a benefactor named Zadavia into a team to fight any threats to Acmetropolis, the Loonatics. Trigon acquired the planet via the Internet and decided to make it attractive to vistors by sending a second meteor and making the Loonatics even more powerful. The meteor crushed them as they ate sub sandwiches. Their ghosts phased through the meteor. Trigon tried replacing them with the Teen Titans but they used their extreme superpowers without care and ruined the planet.
