Black Canary participated in the Justice League's Next Top Talent Idol Star: Second Greatest Team Edition competition with Martian Manhunter, Shazam, and Blue Beetle. She blew them off their feet with her Canary Cry. They lost. She sadly sat onside on the ground with her head in her knees. Black Canary attended H.I.V.E.'s surprise birthday party for Jinx. Wildcat and Black Canary teamed up and formed a crew for Justice League's Next Top Talent Idol Star: Dance Crew Edition but lost. Canary accepted a free invitation to a Space House and was unknowingly collected by Brainiac but helped destroy the Skull Ship. Black Canary attended the Wayne Manor Regency Ball. Starfire got out of control with her matchmaking and paired her with Elasti-Girl. They backed up and laughed it off. Black Canary went to Wonder Woman's 80th anniversary party and was a spectator at the Codsville Thanksgiving Parade. She attended the DC Superhero Awards Show at the Hall of Justice.
Black Canary was lured to the Easter Factory with a free tour then imprisoned and forced to lay eggs by the Easter Bunny until the Teen Titans figured out a way to get free by overloading the machines. An emergency bird call was sent to all members of the Winged Watchers, a society dedicated to protecting birds. When Robin, Raven, and Birdarang arrived at the society's secret base the Bird Sanctuary, they were greeted by Black Canary, Hawkman, and Stool Pigeon. Once inside, at Black Canary's behest, Hawkman quickly closed the doors so no members accidentally flew outside. She offered them a refreshing bath at a giant bird bath but they opted to eat a regurgitated fish from Black Canary. Robin and Penguin got into a fight but Black Canary broke it up with a Canary Cry and reminded them about the rule of no ruffling feathers. Hawkman revealed he got a tip that the bird watcher spying on them all is after the First Nest, the mythical nest that provided a home for the first egg hatchling.
As a precaution, the First Nest was secured in the Chicken Coop elsewhere in the base. Hawkman's baby and Northwind informed them of an intruder. Robin realized the bird watcher followed them to the base. The bird watcher revealed himself to be Egghead. Robin, Raven, Birdarang, Black Canary, Hawk, Dove, Penguin, and Stool Pigeon went upstairs to the Chicken Coop just as Egghead breached the level. After Penguin, Hawk, and Dove were defeated, Black Canary emitted her Canary Cry but Egghead dodged and tossed an egg grenade that release cinnamon. She retreated. Egghead revealed he just wanted to answer the one question that plagued mankind since the beginning of time, "What came first? The chicken or the egg?" He sat in the nest and they all saw it was the egg. Egghead believed the revelation would bring world peace and an age of enlightenment. The warriors broke free and kicked him out of the nest. His head cracked open and he forgot what came first. They refused to tell him. Egghead called them jerks.
