The Brain Trust, according to Interpol, is an international society headquartered in Europe. Its members profess mind over matter, like shamans walking on hot coals and are able to access over 10% of their brain capacity. They discovered a range of extrasensory powers such as telepathy. With these powers, they wish to change the world. However, this is done with illegal methods. Throughout the world, they advertise themselves as various special schools like the Academy of Arts and Sciences and kidnapor recruit potential members. The Trust often selects children with powers as it is easier to psychologically indoctrinate them to the organization.
