A towering ardvark-like creature resides on the planet Zerox in the Swamp Sea near the cave of Lore. They tend to themselves but will attack to protect its young with its paws or tongue. The beast reproduces by egg laying. The egg is suspended by bodily fluid to a tree branch.
The beast was later incorporated into the Zeroxian's Trial, a series of test that redeems a fallen wizard. It became the main test of observation and compassion. Rather than subdue the beast, one would notice it was only defending its nest. Zyx and Superman X were able to save the beast's egg and return it proper.
