A child was infected with a genetically-engineered virus and mutated into a gigantic monstrosity dubbed Validus. Despite the mind of an infant, Validus went on an unstoppable path of destruction. Yielding to the power of Emerald Empress, it joined the Fatal Five.
Years later, it became Imperiex' chief enforcer as he proved far stronger than the Empress. Validus was unable to prevent its new master's defeat at Brainiac and was the first to be digitized. After Brainiac's defeat, it is assumed Validus was then remanded to Takron-Galtos.
