Voice Box is Music Meister's bus. Music Meister attempted to break into Gotham Central Bank's vault but his sonic blaster wasn't strong enough. Voice Box drove around in search of singers to steal from to power the sonic blaster. Voice Box overheard the Batwheels singing in Gotham Central Park and stole their singing voice then sent the energy to Music Meister's sonic blaster. They pursued him through the city. Near Central Square, he stole Green Arrow's singing voice and sent it to Meister. Voice Box laid out road spikes fashioned after sharps and flats but Buff cleared the path. He tried a drum solo to make the road too dangerous to pursue. Batwing nailed him with a Batarang and he spun out then got stuck. Buff revealed he didn't sing back at the park and admitted it was easier to sing when he was by himself. The others implored him to pretend he was in Bat-Wash. Buff started singing the Batwheels song and broke Voice Box's singing lock. The other Batwheels and Green Arrow were able to sing again. Back at the bank, Batman captured Music Meister.
