"A Nice Place To Call Home," Smallville is known for its idealistic characterization of the American Way, Kansas is also notorious for being the "middle of nowhere." It is home to generations of the Kent family and later, Clark Kent. When the pressures of being Superman were too great, Kent returned to Smallville to gather himself, seek advice from his mother, and visit his father's grave.
